Too Faced are renowned for their quirky and innovative beauty products. Recently they launched the opening of their first ever store in (possibly quite surprisingly) London! I’ll be honest and say I was very happy to see a big American brand such as Too Faced opening in the UK as it means easy access for us over this side of the pond.
Jerrod Blandino (former Too Faced owner), stated that London was his first choice as he just ‘loves’ the city. I was most impressed with the fact that the store will be stocking all new releases and even some special releases before the US. Again this is exciting for any makeup fanatic in the UK, as we’ve had many years of waiting months for our turn when it comes to getting US released brands.
The store is very easy to get to as it is located in the popular beauty region of Carnaby Street in central London. With stores such as Urban Decay, Mac and Pixi close by, Too Faced will face a bit of competition; however I feel that they probably won’t feel it much, as their store may be the most aesthetically appealing out of all!
WHAT’S ON THE INSIDE?
Speaking of the stores aesthetics, there’s no denying that this is a very glamarous store. From the outside with the glitter Too Faced store sign, you already know this is a very different type of store. It is quite enticing (even if you just want a snoop around!). The inside is just as enticing with it’s amazing displays. The lips wall, which has a giant lips mirror and the Too Faced wall of glitter and sequins at the back of the store are just some of the quirky features. Even the cashdesk is built like a dolls house. The staff are just as eccentric with their own uniforms. They wore pink denim with Too Faced on the back and pins adorning their fronts. On their feet they wore gold glitter pumps.
The store itself isn’t just another place to buy makeup. They also offer a service such as getting your brows or lips done for a small price. They even offer a full face of makeup. The staff are there to also help you test out each product too. All in all this was a very impressive store and definitely gets you excited to spend. But be warned. Have your sensible hat on when shopping as it’s VERY easy to overspend there. They do offer a 28 day return policy (based on UK regulations of returning makeup) and you get a new and very cute shopping bag. I’d definitely recommend visiting the store at least once – even if it is simply for a nosy around!
